With 11500 square meters (about 124 square feet) of garden, the activities in Solar do Magoito take place mostly outside. The area of the main pool, and its covered support area, are ideal for relaxing. Another relaxing outside pool with warm water is also a good option. The more active people can enjoy the porous and quick surface of the tennis court, or the table tennis. There are also bicycles, surf and body boards available.
There is no lack of reading spaces, both outside and inside, or maybe a game of snooker or cards.
The children have the traditional slide and swing sets to play in. We also have donkey rides for them.
It’s also possible to arrange fun activities for small groups.
Solar has a surf monitor and a guide for hiking.

Lisbon, a city that’s both cosmopolitan and picturesque, full of tradition, leans over the Tejo River. You have to ride on the Number 28 tram that goes through several parts of the city. Also, you can’t miss the charm of the old Lisbon (Downtown/Chiado), the typical neighbourhoods (Bairro Alto, Mouraria, Castelo and Alfama) and the western area of Belém where you have a lot to visit (for example, Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower). All through the night you can enjoy the environment in Bairro Alto, the traditional Fado houses or the bustle in Cais do Sodré, Santos and Docas.
25 km (15.5 miles) from Solar do Magoito you have two different places to visit. To the south you will find the village of Cascais, probably the most cosmopolitan hub in Portugal.
